Kellie Andriessen – Finalist in Industry Awards for Excellence
Many of you know our Manager of our Property Management Team, Kellie Andriessen, who has worked with us for 35 years, constantly goes above and beyond, and delivers an amazing service to our landlords, but now her property management skills and talents have just been recognised at a state level.
We are absolutely delighted she has been named as a finalist in the REINSW (The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales) 2024 Awards for Excellence.
Nominated in the category of Tim Anderson OAM Residential Property Manager, this Award for Excellence recognises outstanding achievement by individuals in residential property management.
Now in its 27th year, the prestigious Awards for Excellence is the most respected competition within the real estate profession, acknowledging exceptional performances across the industry.
The program offers much-deserved recognition for the unwavering commitment and tireless efforts exhibited by agents and their valuable contributions to their communities.
“While it is crucial to recognise outstanding work, all the finalists should be immensely proud,” says REINSW President Barry Johnston. “Celebrating their exceptional contributions helps us cultivate talent, foster innovation, and expand the realm of possibilities.”
“Being recognised as a finalist in the Awards for Excellence is a prestigious honour.”
“Finalists should proudly share their achievements, as it validates their hard work and demonstrates the exceptional quality of their contributions,” he concludes.
Why Kellie is a finalist
Passionate about property, and helping people, Kellie started as junior receptionist, and progressed to providing administrative support to the property management and sales teams, and managing the office accounts.
In 2015 she stepped up to manage the Property Management team, and Kellie’s responsibilities grew as we expanded; now she is joint owner, and is an integral part of the team, managing business development, managing and training staff, as well as overseeing the office.
Investing in staff
In addition to cultivating and nurturing strong landlord relationships, to ensure our property management service consistently goes beyond expectations, Kellie also trains our staff to an exceptionally high standard. She instills the importance of meticulous paperwork and records, proactive maintenance, efficient rent collection.
Because Kellie has vast experience of property management, understands the local market and knows what tenants are looking for, her suggestions of value-added renovations ensure landlords maximise rental income and potentially benefit from excellent capital gain.
Part of our local community
As a local, family-owned business, we are deeply committed to our local community; as well as heading up our property management team, Kellie has also played an integral part in her children’s school fundraisers and is on the Committee for Boolaroo/Speers Point Swim Club.
Wish her luck!
Kellie has a zoom interview with Judging Panel at the end of July, and we’ll know the final outcome at the Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner, scheduled to take place Thursday, 12 September 2024 at The Star Entertainment Centre in Sydney.
We’ve got everything crossed for her, but in our eyes, she’s always a winner!
